Gabin Maxime Nguegnang, M. Sc.

I am passionate about sciences and its applications with a great interest in Artificial Intelligent (Machine Learning and Deep Learning). I am a PhD candidate currently working on the analysis of gradient descent and stochastic gradient descent for training Deep Neural Networks at the RWTH Aachen University under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Holger Rauhut.
I hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics with a background in dynamic systems, numerical analysis and modelling. Besides, I hold a co-operative master in Industrial Mathematics with a major in Machine Learning.
Past works have been focused on Predicting Fuel Consumption in Power Generation Plants using Machine Learning and Neural Networks; Anomaly Detection in Power Generation Plants Using Machine Learning and Neural Networks. Then Modeling Systems taking into account impulsive phenomena.

Research interests:

• Machine learning and Deep Learning,
• Optimization, Stochastic Approximation
• Dynamic Systems and Modeling.
