Dr. Sakirudeen Abdulsalaam

I have just resumed a new position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Mathematics (Mathematical Data Science and Artificial Intelligence research group) of LMU in Munich. I was a Post-doc at the Chair of Mathematics for Information Processing of RWTH-Aachen University between June 2022 and January 2024. I completed my PhD studies in Computational and Applied Mathematics from University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Research interests:

I currently work in the field of compressive sensing and signal processing. However, my other interests include optimization methods, machine learning and operational research.
